Leica Store Malaysia August Exhibition Everyday Malaysia: A Glimpse into Daily Life and Culture

This August marks a special milestone as I coordinate and host our 9th Photography Exhibition at Leica Store Malaysia in my role as the Leica Akademie Manager. The theme for this month's exhibition is "Everyday Malaysia: A Glimpse into Daily Life and Culture"—a celebration in conjunction with Malaysia's Independence Day on August 31st.

After reviewing over 300 images submitted by more than 30 talented photographers, we have carefully selected 10 photographers whose work truly captures the essence of daily life in Malaysia. Their unique perspectives will be on display throughout the entire month of August 2024 at Leica Store Malaysia.

I am thrilled to invite you to experience this visual journey with us, featuring stunning works by Amrul Azuar Mokhtar, Dr. Sean, Edmond Leong, Frederick Sim, Hua Chiang, Justin Tay, Robert Lie, Theresa Thien, Vincent Chan, and Yuji Haikal. This exhibition promises to offer a captivating glimpse into the rich and diverse culture of Malaysia, as seen through the lenses of these talented photographers.
